Our History
The Comazzi family welcomes you to your “home” for the holidays.
Since 1959 when we opened, we have passionately and enthusiastically run Hotel Sole.
Our love for our work means that still today we offer guests an enjoyable stay in a homely, modest, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.
Since a complete refurbishment in 2000, every year we have added more facilities designed to improve the comfort and quality of stay on offer.
The Hotel
Our small hotel is 1km from Cannero Riviera, a stunning small town situated on the Piedmontese bank of Lake Maggiore, a stone’s throw away from the beautiful mountains that separate Italy from its neighbour Switzerland. Our special position, within a large gulf, allows you to enjoy the Mediterranean climate (mild temperatures in winter and not too hot in the summer). Thanks to this moderate climate, Cannero is famous for growing citrus trees, camellia and many other essences. One of the best-known icons is the ancient castles on two islets, just outside the town.
